Cam Crosbie

Cam is a financial services and business technology executive with broad leadership experience and proven consistent success building, energizing and leading high performing IT organizations supporting many business lines including: Life and Health, Savings and Retirement, Group Benefits, Personal and Commercial Banking, Mortgage Broker, Small Business Banking, Finance, Human Resources. He led an organizational change which helped Equitable Life improve delivery quality, ratchet up business and IT collaboration, and decrease time-to-market for core product development.

Beth is a Customer Experience and Operations Management Leader who thrives on high-energy, high-stakes assignments where getting people aligned and working together is critical for success. She is best known for a strong result oriented acumen that has yielded a 23% increase in overall call centre associate performance, 63% improvement in service level achievement over a 24 month period, 99% customer retention during a call centre consolidation, and a $750K reduction in annualised labour costs with 6 months. This talk will feature an OpenAgile success story about a very smart cross functional team struggling to solve a tough business challenge and how OpenAgile provided a fresh framework to look beyond solving problems and became a catalyst for organizational change.

Frank Leong

Frank successfully led the Agile transformation process in both AIMIA and Workopolis. He will share a story of how a mandate for change at AIMIA ignited and united the passions of individuals and functions at all levels of the organization. The presentation will highlight the critical success factors behind our Agile transformation, the many personal transformations experienced and the bottom-line results thus far in our journey.

Mishkin Berteig

Co-founder, OpenAgile Center for Learning

 

Mishkin leads, mentors, trains and coaches teams and organizations using agile methodologies. He have served as a project manager, a senior consultant, a mentor, a methodology consultant, a senior software architect and a team lead on various projects, mostly in the financial services industry. He currently works exclusively through his consulting company, Berteig Consulting Inc. anywhere in Canada and China. He is the primary contributor to Agile Advice .

James Heidema

 

James Heidema has over the 20+ years experience in the financial service industry, and had trained 160,000+ managers and salespersons in 30+ countries. James trained and coached various teams and companies throughout Canada & Europe on Agile Scrum and OpenAgile methodologies since 2008.  He recently published his 7th book - The Passionate Sales Manager, and has 6 other books in print in 12 languages.

 

 

Garry Berteig

 

Garry Berteig was co-founder of OpenAgile in 2004. He contributed to the core concept of using Agile methods in environments outside of software development. He is committed to helping individuals, teams and organizations apply OpenAgile to transform their way of working. Garry Berteig has worked as a television director, media specialist, instructional designer, researcher and freelance broadcaster. He began teaching for the faculty of art at Keyano College, Fort McMurray, Alberta in 1990, and retired in August 2012. His students have achieved success in their continued studies in institutions across Canada and the USA. In 2010 the Alberta Faculty Association presented him with an award for innovation in teaching based on the OpenAgile Framework. He is currently working with Suncor project management for Corporate Effectiveness and Training.
